6. User Safety & Absolute Liability Disclaimer
BrokAway is a discovery intermediary platform. We facilitate connections, not transactions.
Zero-Payment Advisory: For Rent, PG, Short Stay, Lease, or Sale, NEVER make advance payments (security deposits or booking fees) without physical verification of the property.
Personal Safety: Verify the identity of the person you meet. Conduct inspections in daylight and preferably accompanied. Ensure the place is safe and legitimate.
BrokAway does not own, inspect, or manage properties. We are not liable for financial loss, safety incidents, or inaccurate listing descriptions provided by third-party users.
7. Platform Integrity & Service Evolution
We share data only for service fulfillment, legal compliance, and platform security.
- Lead Sharing Responsibility: Once a lead is shared, the receiving party (Owner/Broker/Builder) is independently responsible for their own privacy practices and legal compliance.
- Professional Matching: Your search criteria may be shared with developers or brokers to provide you with fitting property options.
- Fraud Monitoring: We monitor platform communications and logs to detect and prevent spam, scamming, and abusive behavior.
- Evolution of Services: While the platform is currently free, please note that some premium features or advanced services may become paid in the future.
- Legal Compliance: Data shared as required by law enforcement or regulators under standard Indian IT laws.
